Went for the first time and what an amazing place. Very relaxed home feeling. The owner Ray came and sat a couple of times talking to us, waitress was a 10 hands down. The customer service there was a solid 10. It's nice to go somewhere and feel.like you've been a regular for years.

The historical transit hotel turned into a delicious smoke house. What a perfect place to do it. The rustic charm is amazing. Sucks that my daughter and I were the only patrons tonight. Very glad I decided to come in the service was friendly and helpful. The owner Ray came and talked to us and was very kind and a pleasure to talk to. This place should have every seat full on the regular. Good prices excellent food. Definitely recommend everyone go give it a try.

This is BBQ mastery on a whole other level. I'm sure I've never had brisket cooked so perfectly, even the fat was smooth as butter. The baked beans are again just so unreal. The warm potato salad is better than anywhere else by a long shot, it's what you always want it to be but rarely is. The sauce options are incredible, made in store, and packed with flavor. Never seen white BBQ sauce before but wow. Service was top tier, they had live music which was thoroughly enjoyable, man could he ever sing. The place was clean, warm, and inviting. Very cool spot and I can't wait to go again.

Melissa is a one of a kind waitress! She knows the menu like the back of her hand and has a cute sense of himour. To start, we had 4 flights of bourbon. Highly recommend the 1776 . The deep fried chickens were crispy and well seasoned. They were a great way to sample the sauces. We had the 5 meat 1/3 lb with baked beans and mac/cheese. Brisket, ribs, sausage, pulled pork and chicken. All had a good smoke and tender. To top it off. We had their homemade blueberry smoked ice-cream! Creamy blueberry with a light smoked flavor finish. It is as amazing as it sounds.

Fantastic BBQ! I had a takeout brisket and ribs from Transit Restaurant Smokehouse, and they did not disappoint. The meat was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and well-spiced. The brisket had a great smoky depth, and the ribs were just the right balance of juicy and crispy. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality barbecue in Alberta.
